In 1998 our founder, Ms.Carolina, single-handedly built Chandler’s Preschool (CPS) with a simple belief. Do not underestimate the potential and power of a humble beginning. For the acorn, with the assistance of another animal, will become the strongest tree in the forest. It is through relational service and knowledge stewardship that our biggest dreams—become possible.
CPS began over 20 years ago as a home daycare with 14 students quaintly nestled beneath a 370-year-old oak tree. In 2022 after years of parent and alumni encouragement, Ms.Carolina took a leap of faith and CPS opened it’s second campus. This time, as a full sized early-education-center in Highland Park. We are beyond grateful that our school is testament to the transformative power of belief, courage, and empowerment.

Our play-based curriculum, strives to help your kiddo empower and meet themselves organically. Our weekly lesson plans are built to provide students ample opportunity and variety to discover what lights them up! We balance art, music, social/emotional learning, STEM, outdoor play, community relations, and yes, even reading and writing in our weekly lesson plans.
